Caecilia zoekt: Een Kamer in Leiden

Hello, my name is Caecilia. I'm from Indonesia and looking for a place to live in the Netherlands, as I will attend my master's programme at Leiden University starting on 1 September 2024. I'm looking to move in sometime around the end of August 2024, and I'm hoping to find a room around Leiden or the surrounding cities close to the train station, if possible.

I will be a full-time student and I'm fine living with roommates. I used to live in a student house with more than 30 people at my former university in my home country, so I'm accustomed to living with other people. I speak pretty good English and maybe I will learn Dutch a little while I'm there. I plan to stay for up to 12 months, as it’s the duration of my study.

I'm a pretty social person, though sometimes I can also be a little quiet as I also need my alone time. My friends would describe me as easy-going, respectful, and caring. In my free time, I like to spend my time reading and watching TV series, I also like to cook sometimes. On the weekends, I love to go outside and explore the city, frolicking in nature, and take pictures of everything. I love to go to local markets and vintage shops too.

I like to keep common living spaces pretty clean. I do my dishes every day and organize my belongings when I get home from school, so I'm very open to the idea of a cleaning schedule to keep everything tidy, eye-pleasing, and comfortable.

Here are some other facts about me: I don't smoke, I'm friendly with animals (I have a sweet little dog at home), and I make good stir-fries :)
